When was the last time you were surprised by a company or business that you used? Can you remember it? How did it make you feel?
Well, if you’d like to generate more of that kind of customer love for your business, you’ll want to watch this week’s video on 4 Keys to Surprising Your Customers.

So if you’d like to generate more customer love by surprising your customers, make sure you follow these four keys.
- Get clarity on what your customers’ expectations really are (not what you think they are or should be)
- Pick an unexpected time to surprise them (not when they might expect to you to do something different)
- Refuse to copy what others are doing in your market (i.e. if they’re all zigging, make sure you zag)
- Don’t run the same play over and over again for any extended period of time (because everything in life moves from remarkable to ordinary to death).
If you follow these four keys, you’ll start surprising more of your customers. And the more you surprise them, not only will you endear more customer love to you and your company, you’ll also get a ton of free word of mouth marketing (just like I did for Halls Chophouse in this post).
So what are you going to do differently this week to surprise more of your customers/clients?
To your accelerated success!
